Cheddar is a 3-month-old Labradoodle gifted to the department by Blueberry Cottages.
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) — The La Crosse Police Department recently added their first therapy K-9 to the crew. The three-month-old came from Blueberry Cottages in Osseo, Wisconsin.
Cheddar, the Labradoodle, stopped by the studio to make a visit with Daybreak’s Mike Beiremeister and Carly Swisher.
School Resource Officer Ryan Ledvina said Cheddar has already assisted in a mental health crisis.
Cheddar plans to continue making stops throughout the community at area schools and organizations.
